My joy at being a DMA

DOMINICAN: I feel joy at being a Dominican, sharing in an Order which has been going on for almost 800 years. Joy at being a daughter of Saint Dominic, a man of light and fire, a great contemplative whose motto was “Veritas” (Truth), and who contemplated with a view to giving to others the fruit of this contemplation.

I feel joy at singing the praises of the Lord by means of the Psalms, by participating every day in the great prayer of the Church, the Liturgy of the Hours.

DOMINICAN ADORERS: I feel joy at being a daughter of Mother Julienne of the Rosary, a shining witness to Eucharistic love, and at being consecrated like her to the Eucharistic Heart, taking on also His mission of giving adorers in spirit and in truth to the Father. Joy at contemplating the Truth in the Eucharist, the synthesis of all the mysteries of Christ. Joy at being nourished each day with the Bread of the Word and of the Eucharist.

MISSIONARY ADORERS: I feel joy at telling all my brothers and sisters that Christ loved us to the end, that He perpetuates his Sacrifice, accomplished once and for all, in an Act of Love which has no end. Joy at leading my brothers and sisters in offering their lives in union with Christ who offers Himself to the Father.

ADORER: I feel joy at entering the Eucharistic Heart of Jesus, at sharing in His sentiments, at losing myself in Him in order to adore the Father. Joy at bringing all my brothers and sisters to His adoration and at leading them also to adore by Him and through Him.

It is a great joy which I sing with my whole life: LOVE AND GLORY TO THE TRINITY THROUGH THE EUCHARISTIC HEART OF JESUS, which is the canticle of praise of the Dominican Missionary Adorers.
