Sister Claudette Corriveau , O.P. 1943 - 2020
Claudette Corriveau, a member of the congregation of the Dominican Missionary Adorers, died at “l’Hôtel-Dieu de Québec”, on November 5, 2020, at the age of 77 and 5 months, after 52 years of religious profession. Born in Saint-Rémi-de-Métis, Price (Matane), she was the daughter of late Mrs. Blanche Larouche and late Mr. Marc-Aurèle Corriveau. In addition to the members of her religious family, Sister Claudette leaves behind her sister, Huguette and her brother-in-law, Laurent Banville, as well as her nephews and nieces, great-nephews and great-nieces, cousins and friends. Sister Claudette has gone to find her sister, Micheline, in the house of Father.
The Dominican Missionary Adorers and family members will receive condolences on Wednesday, November 11 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Wilbrod Robert Memorial Centre, 738 Royale Avenue Quebec City (Beauport) G1E 1Z4. Please wear a mask.
The funeral service will be celebrated that same day, November 11th, at 2:30 p.m. at Ste-Gertrude Church in Beauport. However, due to the pandemic which limits the number of participants, the public unfortunately cannot be invited. Steps for a webcast are underway; you will be able to check on our website (www.op-dma.com), hoping that this project will be feasible. Interment will then take place at the Notre-Dame-de-Beauport Cemetery on Wilbrod Robert Street.
